6 easy and cheep projects for kids of All ages

Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known.
-Oscar Wilde

I believe that children should learn through art and play! I often can find myself wishing my son (2yrs old) would have mastered art like an 8 or 9 year old. But I found that you cannot CONTROL the mess and fun that art and play brings into the house. No, seriously moms, let them make a mess! The ideas above are things that your 9 year old and 2 year old could all do together! They will turn out completely different and be smiler in the same, makes for a wonderful experience!

I will tell you how to prep for each art project, most of the things that you need can be made at home, or are WAY cheep! My husband and I are in a tight spot and I did these for less than 2.00 a piece!!  This was so wonderful I just had to share it with the fellow mothers in the world.
 HAPPY CRAFTING!!

Leaf Stamping!

Ok so take a walk, pick up all the leaves you can :) When you get home all you will need is your paint, and some paper!  Paint one side of your leaf all sorts of colors then stamp your leaf onto the paper! Lost of possibilities with this one!

Turkey Print

All you need for this one is an imagination and some paint! paint the palm of your hand one color and fingers another, make your Turkey as bright, wild and Colorful as you want!! So much variety!

Print Turkey!!

I love these! I have one for each year, I can literally see how my son grew this year! Paint your hands to create the fan for the tail feathers, than paint your foot for the body! (i know it tickles... lol)

Fall Tree
You need paper, paper and paper.... well and glue too. To prep for this one for little kids, tear up some fall colored paper, have some brown paper to trace their hand and arm for the trunk. Also cut a plain paper into the shape of a tree canopy  then glue, glue, glue!

Leaf puppets

Remember those leaves you gathered a few crafts back?!? Glue some to the end of Popsicle sticks add googly eyes, and you have an instant FUN! Really easy and you can play for hours with the right imagination!

Exploding Leaf
Place some leaves on a piece of paper, and color over them with a piece of crayon, or chalk. (we used both) voila explosion

PLAY WITH FOOD!!

OK growing up I ALWAYS got in trouble for playing with my food, but this was a fun craft! you need any food items that you can glue to paper and it wont spoil. IE rice, noodles, beans ECT.
Draw out a picture (like the acorn up top) or print a picture just google 'easy coloring pages for children' in images, BUNCH will show up!
